You should watch the TV show 30 Rock t know what men feel about their hair. Alec Baldwin’s character takes great pride in his hair. One whole episode was based on hair loss. It kept me in splits. I simply couldn’t avoid looking pointedly at my son when we were watching that episode in the family room. I could see his face turning red and he was preparing his defense even as we were watching the antics of Baldwin. Of course, I do know that most of his friends are equally self conscious. In my generation, I don’t recall men being this particular. I guess fashion sense and grooming have gone into a new level for the next generation. I can’t blame them considering the cosmetic industry promotes fairness and lustrous hair for men at exorbitant prices. The brand names for just hair products are mind boggling and men have just fallen into the trap too.
