Wired For Business (W4B) currently collects two types of information from its Web site: (1) your IP (Internet Protocol) address and (2) information voluntarily submitted on registration forms or emails sent to any of the address given on W4B website. Your IP address often does not identify an individual, but rather is only a temporary name by which an individual obtains access to the W4B Web site. IP addresses are not used to identify users. Information voluntarily disclosed to the W4B either online or in registration forms, survey response forms, and email is added to the relevant W4B file to enable processing of the registration or for appropriate response. This information is usually the name, address, meeting attended or topic of interest. This information is availble to sponsor of the event. We also contact with third parties for co-marketing or other activities related to the W4B’s goals and objectives, and allow them to use selected member information under for promotion of W4B objectives and missions. The W4B endeavors to take appropriate measures to assure the reliability of member records and to protect them from loss, misuse or alteration.
